Oriental & Javanese Did you know that the Siamese, Colorpoint and Oriental Shorthair breeds also exist in a long-haired version. Siamese and Colorpoints become Balinese and Javanese and the Oriental Shorthair becomes an Oriental Longhair. What is the difference? Only the coat length. Both the shorthair and longhair versions are just as affectionate, curious and loving but with the longhair you get the added bonus of a slightly longer and softer coat and a big bushy tail!!! Of course, we will continue to have Siamese and Oriental Shorthairs in our breeding program, so we do have Siamese and Oriental Shorthair kittens available if you prefer the shorthair cats!
